Welcome to Sophien 11

Welcome to the oldest house on Sophienstrasse, built around 1750.
Welcome to the Spandauer Vorstadt – Berlin’s historic centre.

Right on our doorstep you will find the Hackesche Höfe and Hackescher Markt, the Scheunenviertel, Oranienburger Strasse with the New Synagogue and the “Tacheles”, Monbijou Park and Museum Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with the Altes and Neues Museum, the Alte Nationalgalerie, the Bode Museum and the Pergamon Museum. Alexanderplatz with the “Tele-Spargel” (Berlin slang for the TV Tower) is always in sight.
It doesn’t get much more “Berlin Mitte” than this.

Our restaurant in the style of the 1920s awaits you. Our courtyard garden is open as well – with a pavilion, so you can sit there all year round.
Our cooks are always in a good mood and have even better recipes. Our wine cellar is well stocked, and freshly tapped, well-kept beers are ready to quench your thirst.

At Sophien 11 hot food is served until 9 pm, and from Monday to Friday between 12 noon and 3 pm we also offer a changing lunch menu.

We serve German cuisine and classic Berlin specialities.

To book a table, please call us between 12 noon and 8 pm.

Everything is ready for you. We look forward to your visit!

An evening at Sophien 11

A one-minute tour of our house: from the lantern above the door through the dining room with its many picture frames, past roulade, goulash and Kaiserschmarrn, out into the courtyard garden – all the way to our team.
